To present the latest research achievements in biological nitrogen fixation across the Asia-Pacific region and China, strengthen exchanges and cooperation among researchers in this field, and advance the application of biological nitrogen fixation in sustainable agriculture and future agroecosystems, the 7th Asia-Pacific Symposium on Plant-Microbe Symbiotic Nitrogen Fixation (7th APMNF) & the 25th National Symposium on Biological Nitrogen Fixation (25th NSBNF) will be held at Shanxi Agricultural University, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, from September 19 to 22, 2026. The event is jointly organized by Shanxi Agricultural University, China Agricultural University, Jinzhong National Agricultural Hi-tech Industries Demonstration Zone, Shanxi Hou Ji Laboratory, and The State Key Laboratory of Plant Environmental Resilience (SKLPER).

Focusing on major scientific issues, key technologies, latest research progress and industrial application of biological nitrogen fixation, the symposium will bring together experts and scholars across the Asia-Pacific region and nationwide for in-depth academic discussions. Awards for Outstanding Oral Presentations and Outstanding Posters for young researchers will be presented during the conference. It aims to build a platform for equal communication and collaboration, and foster young talents engaged in biological nitrogen fixation research. All relevant experts and scholars at home and abroad are sincerely invited to participate.
